How do Reed Diffusers work?
We feel that our Reed Diffusers are one of the best ways to fragrance your room continuously. Proper diffuser usage is important for getting the most out of your vessel.
Diffuser reeds soak up fragrance oil in the vessel and disperse the scent into the air. If you’d like your room of choice to be more fragrant, flip the reeds over. The bottom of the reed will be saturated with the oil, causing more oil to fragrance the air. This also holds true with adding or removing reeds to your vessel. Flip and change reeds with caution because the oil in the diffuser can potentially damage certain surfaces. Therefore, we recommend that the diffuser be placed on a non-damageable surface to avoid possible unwanted harm to a surface.
When you refill your diffuser, change the reeds. Reeds can become clogged over time. If you add new oil to your LAFCO diffuser, clean out your diffuser. Lastly, keep both your oil and diffuser away from sunlight or excessive heat in order to prevent expedited drying out of the diffuser oil.
