"I only discovered the magic of Lafco's liquid soap and bar soap this year and I wish I discovered sooner! They are both so moisturizing and smell great without being over powering. This bar makes bath time feel like a ritual but doesn't clash with any lotions or products post-shower. I still smell it, but it's more neutral and clean smelling vs trying to stand on its own post shower (I personally don't like when my soap tries to overpower my lotions and perfume - I just want my skin to smell clean). Great lather. Incredible quality."

"For me, Retreat the scent, was a surprise. I expected something with at least a subtle slightly feminine essence about it. This was not necessarily a bad thing. I gave the bar to my husband to use and he really enjoys it. It layers well with his favorite cologne each morning before starting his day. "Lafco has made me fall back in love with bar soap. I finished the Marine bar soap so I picked up the Retreat. I really enjoyed my Retreat candle this past spring so I thought I would try the soap. This scent is so complex with the matcha notes. The bar soap has simple ingredients and with that still remains a luxury product. After I placed my order for this soap I thought this scent might be to heavy for summer weather. This is not the case at all."
