Spring in a jar!

"I am obsessed with this candle. The grapefruit scent is very realistic and fills the room without being overpowering. It looks gorgeous on a tray and adds such a cheerful splash of color to the room. Highly recommend for anyone looking to refresh their home for the new season!"

Citrus Heaven

"This one has been on my list and off my list for the past few months and I finally pulled the trigger and picked it up. This scent is phenomenal for the spring and summer season. I have smelled a number of grapefruit candles in the past, and none are to the quality of this LAFCO fragrance. My own personal testimony is if you like a sugar grapefruit that isn’t overwhelming or sometimes spice like some of them come off this is for you."

Great scent, horrible projection!

"Great citrus scent, beautiful yellow vessel. Horrible projection. You have to stick your face directly over the candle to get any scent. Very disappointed considering the price. Other Lafco scents have proven much better quality and projection. Again, very disappointing. Will not purchase again unless the quality improves."

Q&A

White Grapefruit Signature Candle

A breath of summer, captured in glass. The White Grapefruit Signature Candle from LAFCO New York is a radiant escape into sun-warmed citrus, breezy afternoons, and the invigorating scent of fresh fruit carried on the wind. Housed in a luminous yellow handblown vessel, this grapefruit candle evokes the laid-back luxury of a private cabana, where time slows and the senses come alive.

The fragrance opens with an effervescent burst of white grapefruit, bright and juicy, awakening the space with its signature blend of tartness and sweetness. This lively citrus top note is beautifully layered with the crisp green freshness of mandarin leaves and the lush tropical sweetness of pineapple. Together, these notes create an aroma that is immediately energizing, effortlessly uplifting, and surprisingly refined.

As the scent deepens, warm undertones of applewood and soft orange blossom begin to emerge. These base notes add richness and depth, rounding out the brightness with a quiet sophistication that lingers gently in the background. There is a coastal breeziness to the fragrance, softened by a grounding hint of green fern that ties everything together with a delicate earthiness. This isn’t your typical citrus candle. It’s textured, elegant, and crafted for those who appreciate complexity in their scents.

The White Grapefruit Signature Candle is part of LAFCO’s House & Home® collection, designed to reflect the character of a specific space. In this case, it captures the essence of a cabana retreat, a place where golden light filters through swaying curtains and the air carries a trace of ocean mist and ripe fruit. It’s a scent that immediately makes a space feel clean, fresh, and alive with possibility.

Crafted with intention and care, this grapefruit candle features a clean-burning soy wax blend and 100% cotton wicks to ensure a smooth, even burn. The fragrance is composed of high-quality essential oils and natural extracts, delivering a concentrated yet balanced scent experience. The handblown glass vessel is a design statement in itself, with a vibrant yellow hue that adds a cheerful pop of color to any shelf, table, or countertop. Once the candle has burned through, the vessel can be repurposed as a decorative container or keepsake.

Whether you're lighting it to start your day on a fresh note or unwinding after a long afternoon, the White Grapefruit Signature Candle sets the perfect tone. It’s equally suited for kitchens, sunrooms, bathrooms, or anywhere that could use a burst of brightness and a sense of calm sophistication. Pair it with other pieces in the White Grapefruit collection to build a complete scent story that carries through your home.

For those who appreciate crisp, citrus-forward fragrances that feel vibrant without being overpowering, this grapefruit candle delivers. It’s a fresh take on a classic scent profile, designed to elevate everyday moments and offer a simple indulgence with every use.

There’s a reason citrus scents are so universally loved. They’re clean, energizing, and evoke a sense of clarity. But the White Grapefruit Signature Candle adds more to the experience. It brings a layered complexity and a visual warmth that turns an ordinary day into something memorable. One spark of the wick, and you’re transported.
